By creating connections and opportunities to share the gospel: Inspire local churches and people of compassion to build a cost-neutral food distribution network that builds Kingdom connections, renews purpose and take every opportunity to share the Gospel
Reduce food insecurity
Due to high costs and shortages: Provide staple vegetable foods for struggling families of ALL demographics and income levels. With scale and in time, branch back into Frozen, and eventually, Proteins
Our Mission
As a non-profit organization we are dedicated to growing quality produce to increase food security in Atlantic Canada, while growing kingdom connections and purpose through the gospel of Jesus Christ

Only staple crops that can be used and grown successfully are planned for, using conventional rows and raised beds.

We need your help for the 2023 season
Our goal this year: $65,000
- Capital Expenses - New root harvester, additional planting equipment, & harvesting equipment
- Operating Costs - Seeds, Fertilizer, Repairs, and Maintenance
- Labour Costs - Fixed labor Volunteers!

5000 Farms Inc is a registered non-Profit charitable organization that exists to help strengthen food security in our provinces by producing food right here in Atlantic Canada that is in turn donated to Food Depot Alimentaire and other partners. We achieve this through our volunteers, companies, and organizations who either contribute financially, physically, or support us in prayer. We operate using the best practices available today while mechanizing where possible to lower the cost of production and increasing quality and higher supply of vegetables. We currently grow up to 8 vegetable crops including sweet corn, potatoes, carrots, turnip, rutabaga, green beans, onions, and squash.
